Dulux Weathershield Exterior Preservative Primer

Weathershield Exterior Preservative Primer+ (BP) from Dulux penetrates deep into wood to seal and protect against water damage, decay and blue stain fungi. Suitable for use on all types of bare wood. Guaranteed to provide 10 year weather protection, when used with Weathershield Exterior Gloss or Satin.

Usage Details

• Ensure surface is clean, dry and free from any surface coating, mould, algae, fungi or lichen.
• Apply 2 coats with a brush. Leave the first coat to soak in before applying the second, but reapply before the first is fully dry (typically 2-6 hours). Leave 24 hours for second coat to dry. Finish with an appropriate Weathershield Exterior Paint system. The maximum benefits of the Weathershield system will only be realised when used as directed on good quality timber. Use pre-treated timber for ground contact situations.
• Remove as much of this product as possible from the brush with a cloth and then wash with water.
• Store this product in dry conditions and protect from extreme temperatures.
• Don't waste unwanted paint! Leftover product may be taken to a Community RePaint collection point.
