Dylon Hand Dye Passion Pink 50g

With Dylon, you have all the colours of the rainbow to choose from. So you can wake up your wardrobe, revive a faded top, or brighten some cushion covers with colour, ease and permanent results you’ll be proud of.

Instructions:

1. Weigh dry fabric, then wash thoroughly. Leave damp.
2. Using rubber gloves, dissolve dye in 500ml of warm water.
3. Fill bowl/stainless steel sink with approx. 6 litres of warm water.
4. Stir in 250g salt. Add dye and stir well.
5. Submerge fabric in water.
6. Stir for 15mins, then stir regularly for 45mins.
7. Rinse fabric in cold water. Wash fabric in warm water and dry away from direct heat and sunlight.

You will need 250g of ordinary salt.

• 1 pack dyes up to 250g fabric (eg. 1 shirt) to full shade or larger amounts to a lighter shade.
• Suitable fabrics: Cotton, linen and viscose. Lighter shades will be achieved on wool, silk, and polyester mixes.
• Not suitable: Pure polyester, acrylic, nylon, and fabric with special finishes.
• Wash separately for first few washes after dying to remove excess dye.
• Colour mixing rules apply; eg. blue dye on red fabric makes purple.
